The Natural Use Of Money.

Money---we need it to live in our modern culture.  But what happens when need is replaced with want, and how do we discern the difference?  Gluttony is usually associated with eating and drinking.  The word gluttony in and of itself effects people negatively.
Access, however, seems to have become a sign of success.  The concept of gluttony can be transferred to almost anything, including material acquisition and competition.
The natural use of money seems to be to provide the lifestyle that satisfies the needs of the family or individual.  While the family is contemplating the use of money, it would be wise to remember the government is manipulating money and positioning people for the good of what is currently described as “the economy”.
Many of us will remember a time when a healthy economy connoted a close-to-full employment rate, and people accumulating a nest egg for the future.  Some children went to college, some didn’t; the prerequisite fell on the personality of the child.
While we are told we live in a so-called free market economy, the truth is more complicated.  The government does now and has always manipulated the interest rate to encourage economic flow in one direction or another, as suits their inclination.  Our representatives may have been more in tune to considering the comfort and health of their constituents in the past.  Maybe the constituents were more engaged.  At the very least, a healthy U. S. economy seemed to be the goal.
Recent experience suggests this may not be the case any longer.  It is obvious that outsourcing, which can be mitigated through legislation, has been allowed under the guise of market freedom.  It is indeed free. However, when that same free market ran into financial difficulties, it was bailed out using taxpayer cash.
The free market became ever more self-interested, and the manifestation of this fact isn’t only outsourcing, but also the high unemployment rates and new legislation that brought rights of corporations to an equality with human rights and environmental rights.
The mainstay of middle-class stability, homeownership, was impacted when the free market injected venture capital into the housing market.  Most of us know how this influx of institutional cash into the housing market harmed many homeowners.  But why was this the case?
One explanation may be that it wasn’t only the influx of venture capital that was a problem.  At the same time, the so-called free market actively encouraged middle-class homeowners to, as they said, take cash out of their homes to finance material acquisition.  We all know that when the bubble burst, homeowners were left with huge mortgage debt on houses that had lost their value.
Regardless of the monetary policy of the government, how could an individual or family avoid this cynical result?   Reality is a great place to start.  Many of us, and with the help of advertisement, forgot that money is a tool, not an end.  Just as the over-mortgaged house wasn’t really a source of cash, but rather a shelter, money isn’t really one’s life.
Experience suggests each individual and family has its own interests and personalities.  Genius blossoms in each person, and the joy of life is to nourish that inspiration.  When we start accumulating money, which is a most healthy instinct, security may be the best reason.  Certainly material acquisition doesn’t enhance personal growth.  In fact, a case can be made that material acquisition deadens the appetite for growth of human potential in the same manner a diet of fast food can deaden the appetite for truly nutritious food.
Just as drug addiction and alcoholism tragically expands in a persons life until the inspirational inclinations are crowded out, does the preoccupation with material acquisition crowd out the inclination for the meaningful human activities.
More tragic than the loss of security when money becomes the object rather than the tool of one’s life, is the loss of life potential when it is replaced with alcohol misuse or preoccupation with status.
Money is a simple and meaningful concept.  One’s life potential is far more important.

Natural Imagination Energy-Zero Population Growth.

How fast are you dancing? Is it enough to keep up? We’re informed by our politicians that the most important issue is the economy. The family who is trying to heat their home and put food on the table, in a spare moment out of a busy day, considering this statement, agrees.

And so we chase progress, which seems to be ever-expanding growth. As this occurs, people’s homes are crowded out to make way for industrialization, if they aren’t actually absorbed through eminent domain. Industrialization generally brings pollution, and health suffers. And so we build more hospitals in order to care for sick people in our effusive benevolence.

Politicians cut ribbons at business and institutional openings. They are grinning at their constituents as they add up the new tax income in their head.

Industrial farming is in demand to “feed the hungry”. The treatment of animals is obscene, but what can you do? Shipment of crops to distant populations may result in food contamination. Chemical companies are legislating to allow greater market participation for them, regardless of the result to people and the environment. And when did corporations get to legislate---and yet they are.

And we say, “oh, well, that’s just the way it is”. Indeed it is not.

Why haven’t we a national discussion on the subject of Zero Population Growth? This concept has been around a while. The brutal fact is, Earth cannot sustain unending human growth. I’m not talking about not having a child if one wants a child.

Since ZPG was discussed in the ‘70’s, an uprising has occurred that is euphemistically called “family values”. This seems to imply Mom and Dad producing the largest number of children possible in their family. So who does this benefit?

Some say it is mandated in the Bible. I find that suspicious. Who can fly in the face of the wisdom of the Bible? Perhaps starving children can. How about the children enduring diabetes and heart disease brought on by bad food, even in our so-called advanced nation? What about the high rate of cancer, quite often the result of pollution and chemicals?

In our progress-blinded culture, the divorce rate is skyrocketing at the same time we cling to the family values label. What’s up with that? Brain-washing could be one reason we are deeply in denial.

So who benefits from family values and to whom is it truly beneficial? Capitalism doesn’t work without resources. That is what progress as defined by our society is. Churning resources into products to sell in order to enhance profits.

We are destroying our world by using natural resources to be transformed into product in order that industry can be profitable. Government, which at one time was For the People and By the People, is now about keeping business happy.

Well, here’s the thing. Human beings are natural resources. The Supreme Court has decided corporations and humans are the same. They can determine that as often as they want, the fact is human beings and environment are aligned. People can’t live without environment. We are environment. And, cynically, we are being grown and harvested just like any other crop to feed progress.

Capitalism doesn’t work without consumers and workers. That’s what we are folks. Most of our problems could be handle-able if ZPG became a fad in the same manner so-called family values has become a fad.

I’m not talking about population control. We need informed discussion on the subject of responsibility. When a girl’s self-esteem is healthy, she may wish to pursue activities that giving birth to a number of children she couldn’t care for, would impede.

If a boy could find manhood in values rather than impregnating a girl, perhaps he would consider developing a healthy life-partnership.

When a couple in a healthy life-partnership chooses to have children, the two partners can thoughtfully consider whether they want one child or 15. If considered in a stable and mature life-partnership, the decision is theirs alone.

Currently, it seems rather random and children are often born before personal issues are worked out. Society encourages this aimless procreation because bodies are needed to sustain what we now call progress.

ZPG ideals, if made popular in the same manner as has been made family values, may work for many families.

We need to discuss the heck-bent rush toward ever more people. Redefining progress as justice, responsibility, and clarity can actually create healthier families. Redefining progress in terms of ethics and morality will result in immense progress for human beings, rather than corporations.

We must redefine progress in value-related ways instead of profits. Children must be precious souls who are born to responsible parents who are themselves stable. We must stop using people, environment, and animals as the natural resources that will make money for Capitalism

Natural Mineral Rights.

So human beings have advanced to unprecedented ingenuity and intelligence to the point of understanding the combustion engine and having the ability to generate energy. Aren’t the masses awe-struck by this. Don’t we stand dazzled before the captains of industry who have bestowed this gift upon the natives?

And how fortunate we are to be in this age of wonder. How different from our ancient ancestors are we.

But there are a few mysteries we haven’t been able to fathom. Where did the pyramids come from? Modern technology is still unable to create anything comparable. Must have been a fluke. And the sphinx; from whence and why? Who created this stone giant? How was it done?

Why were these fabulous antiquities placed on ley lines? How did our ancient ancestors know where the ley lines were? Ley lines are straight lines that are tectonic faults in the Earth’s surface, this is a scientific fact. Belief exists these are lines of energy and power. The Earth’s pyramids, including South America, Stonehenge, and the Sphinx are aligned with these ley lines.

The pyramids are created using different types of stone. In particular, granite and limestone was predominant. In our current age, minerals called rare earth are mined and used in hybrid cars, computers, and other technology. Without the rare earth, we wouldn’t have the products.

Research has indicated the pyramids could have produced energy sufficient for use by people in the vicinity. The Nile, that has been thought was at one time much closer to the alignment of pyramids and sphinx, acted similar to hydro-electric plants during the rainy season.

The science of this possibility is fascinating. But even more fascinating is the concept of energy created by minerals, which indeed it is. Case in point, for the modern mind, is the rare earths. The difference isn’t in the concept of energy production from minerals, it is the concept of the packaging and marketing.

As in the modern-day inventor of electricity, Nikola Tesla, his vision was cheap energy produced locally for the masses. What we have today is something quite different. Today we live with the vision of the showman, Thomas Edison, with the help of investor J. P. Morgan. Instead of the cheap, locally produced energy for the average person, we have the equivalent of slick-packaged monopolized product that is not only too expensive and harmful to the environment, but it is also becoming too big to function properly.

We have absurd crisscrosses of power lines, poles, transformers and so on that desecrate the scenic nature of the environment. Weather can turn this system into a dangerous and desecrated pick-up-sticks mess.

But, the good news is, the energy companies are making profits that make a few people rich.

What could life be for the majority of people if the system of use of cheap and locally produced energy was the norm. And, by the way, why isn’t it? The difference seems to be that indicated by the character opposite between Tesla and Edison.

And J. P. Morgan, the banker with the money, is the face of Capitalism. It is the system we are told is the best for us.

The fact is, we are familiar with the current system of energy production and delivery. Is a better word brain-washed rather than familiar. Of course other options exist. The ground beneath our feet is alive in the same way we are. We are a part of something dynamic; and rather than use the energy that is natural, we have forgotten the possibilities the ancients used

Human beings have lost connection to the natural, living, breathing world; and have instead allowed ourselves to be tucked into little boxes with lines going from box to box, and are charged large sums of income for the privilege by our handlers.

We’ve forgotten the possibilities of natural life and the human connection with the environment. Instead, now that we are all nicely boxed, industry is attempting to convince human beings that industry is in relationship with human beings.

In truth, human beings are one with nature. If we forget this, we deserve the bondage that will be the result. The natural energy from mineral is the right of the natural human being.

Child Energy.

Children are the blank slate upon which a future can be written that may manifest in a million different ways. They show up in our life of worldly weariness from the stars. To explain the conception, gestation, and birth process of a human being by using scientific data, is similar to answering of the question of in what is our Universe contained by using scientific data.

Certainly, in order to function day to day, it is necessary for us to block out much of what is more real than the physical. And yet, the baby from the mystic nothingness appears in a sometimes tawdry and nearly always preoccupied setting.

Surely everyone who thinks back to their earliest years will remember an enigmatical comprehension not of this world. One may say this is because a child has no experience. Education hasn’t been bestowed by the elders as yet. The serious business of participation in matters of cultural and societal importance hasn’t been completed.

Yet, many people will remember something they can cling to throughout their life. Similar to a life preserver in too-deep water, this memory may provide the character that allows one person to rise above adversity, and another to submit to prosaic insensitivity.

Oddly, a remembrance comes to mind of a most early discovery, or perhaps a repetition of habit pattern, not of the commonplace. A discouragingly small number of people understand this phenomenon. As a very young child, I developed a relaxing exercise that, after growing older and becoming more informed, I understood was meditation.

I would quiet myself and stop thinking. Most unusual for a small child, but the result was that which many who meditate experience. The basics of quantum physics are described by the religious community of ancient Buddhism. This understanding seems to be a result of meditating.

Neither religion nor science was of a child’s concern. Yet, the exercise produced the euphoric joy for which meditation is worth the trouble. In this state, as a young child, I would experience what can only be described as “the big and small” feeling at the same time.

Asking my seriously unimaginative mother what this was, as most little children will do, the response from my preoccupied Mom was the typical “Don’t be foolish”.

Over years and my own immersion into cultural nonsense, this knowing has been the foothold needed to allow for survival on a psychic level. Existence in this physical reality could have been different if the mystery remembered from another plane was acceptable.

Adults have a deeply serious job of bringing a baby through childhood and training them to become responsible and contributing human beings. The care-givers themselves are dealing with pressure that is serious and unrelated to the meaningful matters of existence.

Could a better respect for matters of the mystic, which is of the psyche, allow the space in a family and in a culture, to learn from the wonder of children at the same time we nurture and train them in the ways of society?

We cannot believe that we know everything that is of importance of life. Too many people and families are in too deep anxiety for this to be true.

Children may have much to teach, if we could listen. I can’t believe the majority of people wouldn’t remember their truth from before life, and this is a reference to the psychic as compared to a reference on reincarnation, if they could relax and consider.

A trip back through one’s lifetime through peaceful remembering may take one to a more innocent presence of personality. This can be called meditation, if we must label the process.

A personally-developed exercise is to start in the present year at age attained. More than thinking of yourself, feel your reality and what is happening at this time. This may be for several seconds or minutes; this is your remembering. Do as you please.

Drop back to the previous year, and then the next, and do the same for each year from the current through your childhood, then gently before birth. At this point, you will probably be floating in nothingness. It seems most people don’t remember their birth or the time before, myself included.

If you can float back this far, you will have gotten the idea. You will have created a picture of your life that will fascinate. You’ll uncover the complexity of your personality and the reason for this. The fascination of uncovering the little person who had first appeared out of the nothingness is worth the trip.

Can’t take time out of your work-a-day world to do this? That’s the point. And if it is so difficult for an adult, what must it be for a child?

Feminine and Masculine Energy Rights.

Power is the goal. Modern theory consistently broadcasts the efficiency with which economic markets will function if left to it’s own device. Reality presents a different story. Greed and corruption has made a joke of the theories of the economy.

As vibrant a discussion as of the economy continues on the subject of feminine and masculine relationship. How well is that working?

Much depends on perspective; and also the depth of examination of the subject. When we talk about the workforce, some estimates suggest women are paid $ .70 for each $1.00 a man is paid. This is discouraging if you are a woman. Not so bad if you are a man, unless your female partner is the breadwinner in the family.

If the female partner is the breadwinner of the family, is there a price being paid by her that perhaps neither he nor she considers. What are the dynamics of the relationship; and have you considered what they could be if an awareness of feminine and masculine is examined.

The true nature of male and female can be seen in the creation of the Universe, which opposites created the explosion that resulted in our cosmic home. Before the Big Bang, the Oneness was what may be called God by some people. The Big Bang couldn’t have changed the nature of our origin, other than to have expanded the awareness with untold complexity. This is the essence of power, and it has already occurred. Men and women don’t need to worry about personal power, it is our essence.

When a woman wishes to recline into the sweetness of her femininity, she draws from no less than this explosive energy. When a man wishes to expand into the strength of his masculinity, he will do the same. Neither act can ever lessen the nobility with which one lives. Rather, it is honoring the very energy that if followed back far enough, you will find Oneness.

The opportunity women and men possess to create a Oneness within their own relationship will bring the couple closer to the fullness of their own nature that is the truth of Creation.

When one or the other isn’t in tune with their true nature as a gift of the Oneness, that person may try to take advantage of the intrinsic nature of the other. Consider, if a woman and man, possessing their intrinsic gift, takes advantage of the other by coming from a place of understanding their own gift and drawing energy from the gift of the opposite for personal promotion, the rift that is created in the relationship is disgraceful.

Too often, everything is relegated to a business reality. Of course this is easy; remember our US Supreme Court has raised corporations to the level of the human being. When one considers the truth of relationship in the concept of Universal truth, the harm perpetrated by our institutions are at the least negligent and at the most criminal.

But many families have been so conditioned to see the world not from the perspective of their true and noble nature, but as a reflection of modern society, that they have forgotten they are of the stars, not of the court rulings.

To keep these ideas in mind, will immediately allow space to broaden the possibilities of being male and female---and everything in between. The responsibility of the individual is first to recognize their true allegiance to the Oneness or God, if I must. To represent one’s tiny portion of the Oneness or God within the physical world is our job.

This sounds great, but how do we introduce this into the work-world, societal competition, or promotion of one’s children? That is the question many of us have overlooked. Living with dignity and self-respect has always been important---it is called values. But our modern life, with the complicity of every one of us, has turned the conversation from morality to economy.

I recently wrote a letter to my congress person about a matter of environmental ethics. His reply never mention either morals, ethics, or the environment. His letter mentioned probably 4 times, his enthusiasm in passing legislation that would improve our economy. Not only did he not respond to my concern about the environment, his letter was an advertisement for greed.

He did hear back from me.

But this doublespeak has effectively hijacked any concern that may be raised on the subject of ethics and morality. Our personal lives have been railroaded into attention to the promotion of the insipid need of other people and institutions.

When the matter of feminine and masculine energy is considered, one can imagine how easily this potent and primordial instinct can be manipulated. If a gullible couple hasn’t noticed how easily the wishes of others can be superimposed over the natural better instincts of people, using the feminine and masculine energies, chaos can ensue.

When one makes natural use of their nature, they will be capable of exuding the spirit of the Oneness that is a by-gone conclusion. This has nothing to do with buying into the societal stereotypes. Indeed, the societal stereotypes are quite possibly the greatest barriers to exuding your true feminine or masculine nature

The good news is, many people are attracted to each other because they intuitively sense that within the other is the spark of the divine. The work of the couple may be to solidify this appreciation for each other. And, in fact, the feminine and/or masculine energy is as valid outside a relationship as it is within.

Money Energy.

Money is the exchange for what we want; but what if we don’t know what we want? Everyone needs a certain amount of money merely to function in our culture. This is convenient and healthy. It could be difficult to make change for the chicken you carry in your pocket with the intention of buying the loaf of bread you need. Supporting oneself and family is fundamental in the human world, if not among all living creatures.

The joy and pride we get from this responsibility is, to a certain extent, a measure of human worth. Money can also be a prod to encourage others to act in accordance with the wishes of another.

This brings to mind a funny segment from the TV sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”. Leonard Hofstadter’s girlfriend, Penny, was an annoyance to Sheldon Cooper. Sheldon used the technique of rewarding Penny for good behavior (in Sheldon’s perspective) by tossing a chocolate candy into Penny’s mouth. This is, of course, a technique for training a dog.

After money is earned to cover the basic lifestyle needs, I would suggest money is used in a similar manner as is the chocolate candy in the Sheldon skit. Someone is reinforcing continued acceptable behavior in order to encourage results the payer of the money wishes.

What would make the payee accept these terms? What is the level of maturity that must be avoided to continue to accept this circumstance? Is desperation a part of the mentality? How does one explore their human possibility at the same time they are dealing with personal desperation?

Is desperation too strong a term? Is the relationship truly similar to the dog-training scenario? If it isn’t, why is “The Big Bang Theory” skit so funny?

Advertising plays a big part in setting otherwise intelligent and thoughtful people on a path of the ridiculous. We are dictated to by others as to what our lifestyle should look like. Invariably, it involves ever more money. Debt is a frightening and ever-present specter with which to live. Debt can turn the modern family into anything but a nurturing and loving unit.

Municipalities themselves have asked too much of their householders. As the householders carry a heavy debt, municipalities may raise taxes to support a system that has become onerous to the householder. The value received may be insignificant as compared to the burden imposed.

Why are people compelled to live in the municipalities? Jobs, schools, and grocery stores are often located within the boarders of the city. Proximity to jobs is a big issue. The cost to motivate to work to earn the money to maintain this lifestyle is continually increasing.

Communities can be set up that are people-friendly. They can be small, walk-able, perhaps with car sharing that will reduce costs, or public transit that will enable heads of families to spend more time with partner and children. A good question to ask at the next town meeting you go to is, why are tax payer’s dollars spent on creating peace and plenty for the municipal workers, instead of creating livable communities for the householders.

What will this mean to the family? Perhaps the breadwinner can ease off a bit. Maybe Mom and Dad can spend more time with the kids, lessening the burden on the municipality to maintain a strong police force and jails to keep the kids in line.

How would a peaceful night’s sleep feel? If the burden is lessened for the family, the heads of households might feel less stressed. How many people have you heard describe their attempt to get a good night’s sleep, but who inevitably awaken at 3:00 AM with worry on the mind, instead of floating within dream-time that makes for a healthy psychic life.

Money is a convenient tool for modern life. We may forget that it is a tool to create the life we choose, and instead becomes that which purchases the status symbols that have little to do with true wealth.

Autonomy is achieved when money is nothing but an emotionless tool used to build a meaningful life. Many messages are sent that encourage people to act like Penny in response to Sheldon Cooper’s training. Living within a prison of this training precludes the depth and maturity that will allow a person to reach their full potential.

When money is used to provide a space for character values such as freedom, thought, love, and play, money is fulfilling it’s best potential. It is being used in the service of human development, not to pander to the economy.

Human Energy.

Possibly one of the most serious matters of self manifestation is awareness of human energy and how we honor and use this personal resource. Human energy is quite manageable depending on the use. We can expand our supply of energy or suck the essence out of our energy with improper or ignorant dependence on our personal supply.

Burn-out is a term that describes the result of drawing from personal energy store without replenishing. Over use of energy supply isn’t always obvious. When the energy store is in the process of depletion, the result may be positive for a time.

The project for which the energy is expended may flourish. Admiring comments stream in about the accomplishments, and legitimate personal pride feels wonderful.

The reason for drawing from your energy is key. What if you are burning your energy for the benefit of another. For example, a woman will use her energy pool to nurture her loved ones. This is natural and can be a catalyst to increase the personal energy pool.

Often use of energy involves earning money. How many modern employees can relate to the time and energy that is their life that is exchanged for money? The job can be a source of satisfaction and interest. The job can be a source of energy renewal, in and of itself. Add the benefit of the paycheck, and this is a win/win.

But one doesn’t need to look far to find the employee who has used personal energy for meaningless or even detrimental activities that enhance the condition of another.

Modern life puts enormous and often unsustainable demands on people. The individual is the last word as to how much a lifestyle will cost. Assumptions as to a level of lifestyle are planted in the psyche of people, and in particular of children. Advertising and mass media are paid to do this doubtful service. For whom is this service undertaken? For the benefit of the employers, as a mass.

One’s energy flags in simply considering the web within which most of us live. Quite insidiously children are as often the target of lifestyle suggestion for the benefit of others as are adults. A case in point is the degree of advertising to children that debt in order to secure a college education will provide the best opportunity for gainful employment.

This may or may not be true; but at what expense? And why aren’t we educating against the concept of debt in light of the slavery into which one enters when debt is assumed?

Human energy is sapped under these circumstances. The good news is that human energy is limitless when it is used for true personal use. The reasons for drawing from your energy source may not be dictated by others. No one knows the inspiration that motivates another. But each individual has the same access to the energy source. It is not available to only a lucky few.

How do we access this unbounded source of human energy? Respect for one’s humanity is the first step. Recognition of intrinsic value possessed by you, allows permission to you to honor that which you find to be valuable

If the mind is crowded with ideas planted through ads as to what is important, accepting the energy-consuming employment that purchases the lifestyle as suggested by another, may be the first nail in the coffin of freedom and choice. Accepting the presumptions of another as to what is important, dishonors personal idiosyncrasy and genius.

The source of Universal energy will not replace energy that is burned in such trivial a manner. Energy will flow unimpeded when the use is for promotion of the intrinsic inspiration that is the indication of engagement with the Universal motivation of which we are a product.

One can draw from one’s Universal energy which is the life-source itself, in order to sustain insipid pursuits, for only so long. Similar to pollution of nature, it will eventually catch up. Nature suffers in the short term, but in the end, the result of pollution will not decimate nature before it kills the perpetrators.

In the same vein, use of natural energy to fulfill one’s reason for taking up space on the planet, will not be depleted. Each person must simply slow down and plug in to the source to figure out what brings joy and legitimacy.

Grandiose schemes are seldom the intention of Universal energy. Instead, human energy is a deep river that consistently sustains and nourishes people to represent our source of nature in the physical world.
